New [YouTube Rant].
I said it would happen, so here is an update video to my previous video about how to upload a profile picture to your YouTube channel:

Best YouTube Video?
Yeah, I know it probably has an ad on it. In this case, I don't care because it's funny.
(Although I don't think this entry appeared until the 31st :P )
Well, it appears my YouTube Help Center video was one of the few (and I do literally mean FEW) to be selected to be embedded into the Help Center. This may not be too huge of an achievement, but it's happened, none the less. The only problem is that the feature I made my video about is currently down... this may mean that more people will end up finding the video while trying to find an answer to the problem, but it won't help them much if the feature doesn't work.
Hey, at least the video was 'featured' on [CNET]...
I haven't really had the time to post anything here... I've just been busy with college and NSider2 as of late. I guess you could consider this update a YouTube 'Mini-Rant'.
I've actually received a few emails from people asking me for help with YouTube. While I'm more than happy to help out, I must say that emailing me isn't the best choice. My email box is often cluttered with spam, and considering my email account itself is over a decade old, it's not too reliable. The best bet for asking for help is to send me a private message through YouTube (yes, I'm suggesting YouTube's own glitchy message system over my email account), or to ask your question on YouTube's Community Help Forums, where I'm currently active.
Speaking of YouTube Help, I recently created a video relating to how to upload a profile image/channel icon. It was created for a YouTube contest, but that contest ended the 10th of October, and I don't believe there have been any winners selected. I don't even think many people entered... a few people who actually made videos for the contest were too late with their entries, so I don't think those videos were even accepted. The whole thing was a bit confusing, and it wasn't promoted very well at all (only a mere entry in YouTube's blog).

If you know anybody who needs help with creating a YouTube profile image/channel icon, please share this video with them.

Also... I'm thinking of creating a YouTube themed news blog. It would be in WordPress. I'm looking for people who would be interested in contributing YouTube related news articles. The goal of the blog will be to criticize the YouTube 'community', both constructively and negatively.
So, here are the kind of people I would prefer:
-People with good knowledge of YouTube (features, community, etc.).
-People with good knowledge of WordPress or similar blog services.
-People with good spelling and grammar.
-People with the ability to accompany some articles with audio/video/images.
You would also need to be able to provide a writing sample of the kind of articles you would be able to provide.
I don't know when I'm going to start this, but if I can get enough interest, it should be soon.

So, here's some things I've been up to:
The [NSider2 YouTube Channel] has officially launched. If you are a member of NSider2, and you are interested in having a video uploaded to the channel, send me an email.
A few updates to this site, but not much. Just a few link changes.

New videos. Go there. Now.
Added new video, the first part of my new project. The video is called, "Epic Nsider Delete Maneuver, Part II".
Added new Sonic and the Secret Rings video. Will soon be working on some new concepts for my YouTube Channel, so watch the videos page for more on that.
Added new videos to Videos page. Two videos showing glitches in The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess, and a video of random nonsense related to Sonic and the Secret Rings, for Nintendo Wii.
Added new video to Videos page... Obey The Moderator!
Hey, look who isn't dead. I forgot to mention that I changed the intro page a bit (lol). I also decided to add some of my videos to YouTube for some reason. Such YouTube links include a different version of the 'Metroid 5' video.
For those who missed it, [The Chuck Norris Splash Intro Page].
HALLOWEEN UPDATE! Anyway, it seems that some Donkey Kong Country 3 videos that I uploaded have been getting a bit of attention lately, so I added them to the Videos section.
And yes, It's STILL Coming Back... :P
It's Coming Back...
[I made this because I got bored].
If you couldn't tell, that's the controller for the upcoming Nintendo Revolution (or at least what was revealled at the Tokyo Game Show recently).
I was wanting to say this sooner, but just a little over a month ago, I got the game Nintendogs from Nintendo. I didn't buy it, I was one of about 350 or so people that were sent a free copy. And since it was free, I decided to play it, and I have to admit, I haven't really been able to put it down. It's strange, since this isn't a game I would of bought, but I've been enjoying it anyway. I have created a 'blog' of sorts about some of the things I've done while playing the game, and I still update it occasionally... you can find it [by clicking here]. That link will take you to the 'Nintendo Kennel Club'. You need to register an account at Nsider to post there, though.
Been awhile... anyway... I thought I would inform everyone about the current situation about [The ESRB's rating of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas]. If for some reason you can't see the link, it basically shows that the game has been given the AO Rating, due to the content that was discovered by the controversial 'Hot Coffee' Mod. The mod itself unlocked 'removed' content inside the game, which was a minigame where you could control what was going on immediately after getting invited into your girlfriend's house for 'hot coffee'. Yes, it was a sexually explicit minigame, for those who are still confused. While the game was 'removed' from actual gameplay, the code of the game still exists in the current existing versions of the game. The minigame could be accessed by the widespread PC mod, or through Action Replay codes on the console versions. Yesterday (July 20th) at about 4PM EST, the ESRB recalled all 'M' rated versions of the game that still contain the code. These versions are now rated AO by the ESRB. It's been reported that Rockstar will re-release the game, with the minigame completely removed, in which may or may not get the 'M' rating that the game originally had. The entire 'Hot Coffee' situation has caused havoc all over the gaming world news, resulting in many legal issues, even including possible lawsuits against the creators of the Action Replay device.

Last night, I took a look at the [Touching is Good] that Nintendo of America has going on right now. They had a contest where you would get a plastic hand shipped in the mail, and you had to take a picture of it or make a video with it. I chose to make a video. The good news is that my video is currently on the site. The bad news is that it doesn't have any sound! I'm not sure why it doesn't have sound, but I'm going to see if I can figure out why. By the way, if you want to know which video is mine, it's the crappy quality one that's on the upper right corner of their gallery. I have a WMV version of the video, and I'll probably add it to the videos section after the contest has officially ended.
Today is a big day in history. Today, the new Pope Benedict XVI (Joseph Ratzinger) was elected. Today also marks the 10 years since the Oklaholma City bombing. Though one thing that seems to have slipped through the cracks (and probably should of stayed there) is the new Food Pyramid that was unveiled by the United States Department of Agriculture. They launched a new site for the 'new' pyramid, called [MyPyramid.gov]. Note that the 'new' pyramid is nothing more then the food group images replaced by colors, with one 'new' element... exercise. That's right, exercise is now part of the Food Pyramid.
Now, for some reason, this is a big deal to the USDA. However, I think that people were expecting something a little bit more interesting then what they actually got. Some people even went as far as to suggest a few ideas for what the new symbol should of been. So I thought... what kind of diagrams should the old Food Pyramid have been replaced with? Below, I describe some possibilities:
[The Food Pie]: What better way to define an eating diagram then with an object that is named after a food? As you see in the picture, The Food Pie is a simple pie chart. It clearly shows how much of each food group should be eaten. However, this diagram was probably suggested hundreds of times, and it was probably turned down for the same reason. That reason is that it would make people eat too much pie.
[The Food Triforce]: The concept taken from The Legend of Zelda, the Food Triforce is basically the Food Pyramid times three. In other words, you should eat three times what you normally eat according to The Food Triforce. The food Triforce also encourages that healthy eating habits require Power, Courage, and Wisdom. Of course, eating three times what you normally eat already takes Power and Courage, but it might not fare too well in the Wisdom category.
[The Food Sprite Comic]: The internet has resulted in many well-known diagrams becoming more 'internet-friendly'. In this case, the Food Pyramid in internet Sprite Comic form. While this diagram is basically no different then the old Food Pyramid, it has it's problems. It ends up being just like most other sprite comics found on the internet. It's not funny, it's a poor MSPaint job, and it just doesn't make any sense any way you look at it, even with it's familiar characters.
[The Food Cookie Monster]: One thing is certain, the USDA wants to get it's point across to kids. What better way to do that then to change their food diagram to an image of a well-known childrens character? And more so, a childrens character that is being forced to change his eating habits against his own free will? The Food Cookie Monster is perfect for such situations. However, due to the fact that The Food Cookie Monster shows even less information then The Food Sprite Comic, it is a very unlikely candidate.
As you see, when it comes down to the end, did we really need a change in The Food Pyramid? Did the USDA really need to add exercise (a NON FOOD, by the way, in case you actually didn't know) to
a diagram that hasn't been revised officially since 1996? A big day in history, indeed.
I uploaded another text file, it's a FAQ for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: BattleNeXus (Console Version) Tournament Mode. Told you it wasn't a popular game :P
Other then that, I've been making some error documents for [Sonic Classic]. Go to
some of the pages there and try to access a non-existant file to see them.
I just noticed [this] while looking at the front page of [Newgrounds] early this morning. It is a flash animation that was made by Jeff Weise, who was recently responsible for the school shooting in Minnesota. I'm a bit speechless about the whole thing. One thing I can say is that this is not the way to go, people! If you want to express your anger or sadness on the internet, fine. Do what I'm doing and make a website like this or something. Don't go and take the lives of others and/or yourself.
In other madness, I'm writing up another Video Game FAQ. And it's for a game that isn't very popular, yet it's
based off of a popular franchise. See if you can guess what it is.
I decided to put this little site together, as a place to showcase some of my homemade media files and photos. Not to mention a place to post my daily (well, probably not daily) rants without having to register to one of those 'blog' things. I guess this is what happens to people that lose their job... they decide to make a dark-looking site on the internet and complain about not having a job. My concern right now is how much webspace this site's host is going to have left after I uploaded around 40MB of content... :P
